We have a few critical Linux based appliances by the vendor DataPower. I have been asked to pull information on some of its services. I did find a template on the exchange board for this model XG45, however the information was data I am already pulling from UNDP. I am new to script writing but very motivated to learn and figure this out. Being that this is a Linux device what would be the advised scripting language to use ? I have read the admin guide looking at a few examples and it seems Perl is used quite a bit. Would anyone be able to point me to additional samples ? I have exhausted the admin guide and as we know SLW support will not assist with custom scripts.
